Sacred Band Command

These chaps have been waiting in the wings for some time, and I have only just got around to adding them into the webstore – but now available! Sculpted by the ever talented Stavros Zouliatis, and painted by Artmaster Studios.
As Sacred Band, I’ve gone with a slightly earlier period feel for these guys, giving the Commander Lamellar armour and a bow, which seems to have been a symbol of nobility in Persian / Tyrean / Carthaginian culture. The standard bearer is wearing a studded Linothorax as shown in statuary, and instrument wise I’ve gone for the ubiquitous Cornicern, which all armies of the era seem to have used. There will be some Sacred Band troopers to go with these guys soon, but of course you can use them as an alternative Command stand for Hannibal’s war.
